Free has an own-sales threshold
Systeme.io documents a $10,000 lifetime sales threshold on Free. It warns at $8,000 and stops its payment pages accepting sales at $10,000. Affiliate commissions do not count toward that threshold. The checker therefore excludes Free at $10,000 of your own sales.
Usage can change the bill
The documented restriction process gives warnings when an account exceeds limits. Paid accounts can move automatically to a higher tier if the issue is not resolved. Review actual usage and the current subscription rules; the listed price is not a permanent spending ceiling.
A plan limit is one part of the decision
Removing the email affiliate badge needs a paid plan. Other requirements, including integrations, delivery controls and list permissions, still need a separate check. Student limits are not assessed here because the official pages give conflicting descriptions.
